in memory of ryan dunn, pt. 10—april, phil and jess margera
“I feel lucky to have been Ryan’s friend for the past 17 years. I feel lucky that I lost the high school “Battle of the Bands” with him. I feel lucky that I got to climb a mountain in the middle of Iceland with him. He was one of a kind, and it hurts so fucking bad to think that I’m not going to be able to see him anymore. I’m going to miss him so very much, every single day. I guess all I can really say is… thanks for all the laughs, Ryan. I hope you know how much you meant to all of us who were lucky enough to call you a friend.” —— Jess Margera
Gone but never forgotten.
Never forgotten.
April: “I think we’re still processing it and we’re just worried about our son, you know Bam, he’s out of town and was just told and he is devastated needless to say. We all are”
Phil: “He fit in with Bam perfectly, they were best friends and they feed off of eachother”
Phil: “He is a part of our family, he told us everytime he left that were like his mum and dad”
April: “Its just really hard, he’s just a super nice guy, would do anything for you, always happy”
April: “He would always call me on mothers day…or text me”
April: “I just hope everybody is going to be alright, I hope Bam is going to be alright and I hope we’re going to be alright”
“I think we are still processing the whole thing, really.” Turning to her husband, April Margera said, ”I know you are, I am, and we’re just worried, you know, about our Bam. He’s out of town and was just told, so, he’s devastated, needless to say. We all are, West Chester is, you know. Our whole entire Jackass family is like beside themselves. I can’t believe it.”
Bam: “Are we even?”
April: “Yes.”
Bam: “Fine.”
